Platini wants more referees
Uefa president Michel Platini has hit out at Sepp Blatter's stance on goal-line technology by calling for more referees.
The Frenchman feels strongly that he would be betraying the game he loves if he supported technology unlike his Fifa counterpart, Sepp Blatter, who is now seemingly ready to embrace it.
The 55-year-old former Juventus maestro is adamant that his position can never change and it is up to the referee on the pitch to make the decisions and not the TV station.
"My position on that can never change," Platini told The Independent.
"His (Blatter) position always changes. At the last international board he said no more technology (debates), but after the World Cup he changes. I will never change.
