Ferdinand fitness worry
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says that defender Rio Ferdinand is still a month away from returning to the first team.

The 31-year-old has spent the last eight weeks rehabilitating from the knee ligament injury he sustained in the run-up to the World Cup finals.

The United boss believed that the England skipper would not be back in action for six weeks, but that estimation now looks to have been slightly optimistic.
Ferdinand seems set to miss United's next four Premier League fixtures and that makes him a major doubt for England's opening two Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria on 3rd September and Switzerland four days later
